  1. LogMaster™ 3.0ß1 Release Notes

  4. This is a beta release of the latest version of LogMaster™.
  5.  
  6. IMPORTANT: PLEASE BACK-UP ANY EXISTING LOG FILES BEFORE 
  7. USING THIS VERSION. Although I have tested and think it's stable,
  8. I take no responsibility if it destroys all of your old files. 
  9. (I'm sure everything will work just fine but it's just prudent
  10. to backup important billing information.  ;)
  11.  
  12. Now that I've sufficiently scared you let me outline the improvements:
  13.  
  14. • The main window is now a real window. (I hope to make the Edit Dialog
  15.    a real window in the release version).
  16.  
  17. • Calculations should always add up now; there used to be a problem where
  18.    the total could be a couple of pennies off when you added up all the entries
  19.    on a printed bill (I was being to accurate -- if you can believe that).
  20.  
  21. • Set Directory command now works correctly.
  22.  
  23. • A field of hours paid and billed has been added to the printing options.
  24.  
  25. • The application memory has been increased to avoid some possible 
  26.    printing problems.
  27.  
  28. • The interface has now gotten a little smarter. It should recalculate
  29.    automatically and warn you of exiting the Edit dialog when data hasn't
  30.    been saved.

  34. Finally, this is still shareware, but I am now requesting that the fee be 
  35. sent directly to the Tucson Aids Project (hey it's tax deductable!). Please
  36. use the menu option to print a registration form for more info. Also, since
  37. I'm not getting the cash you can send me a blank disk and a stamped mailer
  38. if you would like to save my personal finances (what little there is left).
